Bolton based pub operator, Tonge Leisure, are recruiting an experienced pub management couple for a new acquisition in Egerton.
Cross Guns is well located to attract the local community and is also well placed to attract a wider drive to trade. Cross Guns benefited from an extensive refurbishment of the trading areas, creation of dining rooms, cocktail bar and additional dining space within the converted barn. Outside areas have also been developed including an outside bar.
We seek to appoint an experienced pub management couple with a proven track record including a minimum of 3 year’s experience in running a managed community type pub. Experience in both food and cask ales is essential.
As a manager for Tonge Leisure your fee will be based on a percentage of the weekly turnover which acts as a reward for any growth within the business. Other than staff costs any associated operational costs related to the business will be paid for by Tonge Leisure with the exception of council tax and a TV licence for the private accommodation.
- Must have leadership and management experience
- Sales & Marketing – maximise every opportunity
- Knowledge of EPOS - Managing stock and controlling GP’s
- Cellar Management - Cask Ale experience essential
- Food Experience – Familiarity in preparation, safety regulations and best practices
- Customer Relations - Recruiting, training a team of staff
- Standards – 1st class internal & external standards
- Social Media Experience – joint managed Facebook page
- Promotions – Update relevant POS, football fixtures and price promotions etc
